Land birds: Songbirds

Wagtails, Pipits, Silky-Flycatchers, Waxwings

Wagtails are rarely seen in our neck of the woods. American Pipit is common, especially in the winter. Phainopepla is a Silky-Flycatcher that eats berries. Common in the SW, it is often seen feeding on red mistletoe fruit. Waxwings also consume berries, often gathering in large, chatty flocks.
